Ian Marshall is the principal photographer of Lighthouse Photographics and has over 20 years experience in the industry, undertaking a wide range of commissions for the creative industry sector. As an early adopter of digital capture, Lighthouse Photographics operates from a fully equipped studio facility in the heart of Glasgow. Based just five minutes from the city centre and within two minutes from the motorway network, the studio has free client parking and disabled access.
From a simple product shot to a full location shoot our philosophy is straightforward: Exceed your expectations and deliver on time, every time and within budget. With over 80 visual artists including painters, glass artists and craftspeople, The Wasps Artists Studios offer you a creative and relaxed atmosphere in which to enjoy your shoot. Our studio is perfect for still life product photography and can also accommodate fashion and portraiture if required.
For larger set building requirements, we have extra space within the complex which can be hired on a daily basis.

It occurred to me one day that we all have so much clutter in our lives.
I then got around to thinking, what if I left all the lighting heads, stands, exposure meters and gadgets on the shelf?

With this project I wanted to get back to basics, both in terms of the subject matter and the way in which I was going to treat them.
