Hi, I'm a wedding photographer based in the pretty town of Stamford. My favourite kinds of wedding are those where the photography is simple, stylish, un-forced and candid. I hold by the principle that your wedding shouldn't feel like it is crammed into a photoshoot. The goal for me is for my couple to be able to re-live their wedding through their photographs.
Even better, that they can feel like they don't remember most of them being taken. I shot my first wedding in 2011. I still love to shoot each wedding in a way that captures all the details and moments that are most important to you, There is a place for those epic couple portraits and must-have family groups. The majority of my day is spent looking for tiny details, fun, and little moments between your guests.
I arrive at every wedding with an open mind and a fresh creative approach. I'll work hard all day to capture all the unique touches, setting the scene and telling the story of your day in a really natural way. Almost all my couples tell me they are a little nervous about being photographed.

I heard it said that your wedding day should not be a photoshoot with a wedding slotted in somewhere - and I hold by that principle.
I won't interrupt your guests and ask them to smile for me and I don't have a "shot list" that I rigidly stick to so that every wedding I shoot looks the same.
Your wedding is about you and the photographs I take will tell the story of your day, and be entirely unique.
Formal photographs have their place and I think it's important to capture them - which I will gladly do.
