I'm a professional photographer based in Derby. I'm also a lecturer with over 30 years' experience of practising and teaching the skills required to produce good quality photography. Many of my former students have gone on to successful careers in the creative design industries. My extensive knowledge and expertise enables me to offer unique, high quality photography with a fresh and creative approach at competitive prices.
My specialities are portraits, commercial, architecture and landscapes. However I'm very used to turning my camera and capabilities to a huge variety of commissions. I've photographed the board of directors for a property development company, a goat farmer with his flock, and a group of infants at a playgroup. All of these commissions require particular skills and present their own challenges, which for me is one of the attractions of my job.
