My passion for music photography started in 2005, as a teenager I would go out with friends to local gigs and I started taking photos of two of my friend's band's which leapfrogged me to shoot a lot of gis at two of my local venue's which were bigger. With my foot in the door of the music scene, I was then approached by a friend who knew took photos to photograph one of my other friends in 2007 who wanted to do modelling, I gave it a go and I really enjoyed it.
I had now the experience of both types of photography, the fast pace upbeat, think on your feet Music photography and Portrait photography which was something I could think about a plan. 2008/2009 was a big year for me in both my Music & Portrait photography in 2008 I was asked to do a shoot for a local Goth magazine ( Nocturnal Magazine) this was shortly followed by being asked to do photography for an Essex based music magazine.
I wanted to get published and I achieved that in both these areas in the same year I felt like I was finally getting noticed.
