I've been a professional photographer since leaving photographic college, undertaking assignments all over the UK in both commercial and social photography. In 1990 I decided to specialise in wedding photography gaining an Associateship with both the BIPP and MPA, an accolade shared by few photographers. Oh and I happen to be the ONLY Associate female wedding photographer in Derbyshire, so you know you're in safe hands.
Who are the MPA and BIPP?! Well, they represent the very best of the photographic community and both only accept fully professional photographers. As well as providing commercial services they also help ensure that only the highest possible quality is produced by their members. And I've won a few awards with the MPA and BIPP in my time which shows our photography is of the highest standard and are consistently working at this level, you never know.

My experience is important to your wedding photography as I've photographed weddings in all sorts of scenarios and the end result has always been the same.
Wedding photography has changed over the years transforming into a much more relaxed style, whilst still capturing those important family groups and bridal portraits.

Once initial contact has been made with the couple, you are invited to the studio for a chat about your wedding photography, where you can then view the wide range of high quality, sample wedding albums that are available.
This is another great opportunity to meet up before the wedding, so that by the time the wedding day arrives we are more like friends and everyone is more relaxed.
A month or so before the wedding, you are invited to return to the studio for the pre-wedding consultation.
All camera batteries and flash batteries are checked and charged and the cards that go in the camera (instead of film!) are all formatted, ready to be used.
This is another great opportunity to meet up before the wedding, so that by the time the wedding day arrives we are more like friends and everyone is more relaxed.
A month or so before the wedding, you are invited to return to the studio for the pre-wedding consultation.
