My goal as a photographer is to work with you to create a pictorial story of your wedding day, which is totally unique to you. Attractive, strong and vibrant portraits of the people making up your day alongside artistic detail images of the surroundings and elements all contribute to the story. I love everything about weddings but by getting to know you, and your family and friends, means I can tell the correct story in the first place.
One of my earliest memories is being amazed by my grandparents' new Polaroid camera but I didn't really start taking photos properly until university where I had access to a darkroom. After graduation my job as a graphic designer meant that I got to go on photoshoots and shadow professional photographers until I started to take over! I shot my first wedding back in 2004 and it was for my then boss.
I only agreed to do it as it was in Scotland and he agreed to pay for my travel and give me an extra day off so that I could explore Edinburgh Castle. I loved the whole experience and weddings have become my life ever since.
