I'm all about capturing the honest, unposed, unscripted loveliness of it all. Those magic in-between moments that, without a good photographer, you might otherwise miss. I love chilled, relaxed weddings that make for spontaneous, live-in-the-moment photography that exceeds all expectations. Details are fabulous, but people are better. If you're planning on marrying your best friend surrounded by all your favourite people, then I'm in.
I've been lucky enough to work on all sorts of weddings. Nothing reaffirms my faith in the creativity and originality of humans as a wedding: no matter how many you've seen, they always show you something different. Fabulous tipis in corn fields, cool quirky London pubs, beautiful old Music Halls with crumbling walls, magnificent stately homes, cosy seaside retreats and palaces in the Welsh valleys.
As long as there's love, people and a bit of dancing, you can't go wrong. I'm a Sussex based wedding photographer, but I love to shoot all over the south east of England and if you're planning a destination wedding, I'm all ears.

Services
Sussex girl, mother, wife, daughter, sister, friend and (hopefully obvious by now) a photographer.
More than anything, I'm a storyteller.
The most important thing to know about me is that I care.
It's really as simple as that.
I love what I do and get a real, tangible, sparkly kinda joy from the lovely feedback I get from my couples.
My favourite thing about my job?
When wedding guests assume I'm a friend of the bride's or groom's.
If I'm embracing your special day with every ounce of warmth and creativity that I would my own wedding, then the results are bound to be pretty good.

It's also just the start of your story which is the really humbling thing about being commissioned to photograph one.
Being asked to document the beginning of a life-long journey is just about the coolest thing you can be asked to do.
You know that thing that some couples do, when they frame old photos of their parents and grandparents on their own wedding days and display them at the venue for guests to see?
That gets me every time.
The beginning of something unique and beautifully human, captured for posterity forever.

Engagements are the best and, as a nice little run-up to your wedding, it's often nice to book me for a pre-wedding or engagement shoot.
It's a great way to loosen up and get relaxed in front of the camera (especially if you're a bit shy about having your photo taken).
We can shoot anywhere you like, but I recommend choosing somewhere cool that you both like or that means something to you.
If you're stuck for ideas, I know lots and lots of gorgeous places in Brighton and Sussex and London that have some cracking coastal and urban backdrops.

Yes, I do family photography.
Our kids are only small for a short time and I think it's so important to capture them while they're still care-free and fascinated by everything quick!
Before they become surly teens!.
We take a lot of photos of our families.
Smartphones are great for that, I'll admit.
But does taking MORE photos mean that we're taking BETTER photos?
I'm not sure that's the case.
Apart from anything else, you can never be in those photos with your kids if you're the one taking them.

I'm currently shooting with both Canon and Sony.
Specifically, x2 Canon 5D mk3s (EOS) and x1 Sony A7iii (mirrorless), with a selection of top grade primes for both systems.
That'll either mean something to you or it won't, either way they take great images!
Around 250 in the past decade or so.
I KNOW.
I've been everywhere, from Lands End to John O' Groats and beyond (well, almost).
My Lake Como wedding that I shot last year was particularly cool.
I only take on a select number of commissions every year to give each one my full attention.
