A Hertfordshire wedding photographer telling stories of love and life in the East of England, South East, wider UK, and Europe. I capture the big and small moments bursting with emotion. The beautifully unexpected moments. The sparks of real connection between people. The threads that come together to create a day so completely irreplaceable and authentically you.
And because I'm all about capturing you being you, overly posed, formal photos aren't my thing. I follow the action as it unfolds, playing with natural light to create timeless, relaxed, heartfelt images that tell the story of your love and the people you love. If that's music to your ears, you can get a feel for my style in my portfolio here and take a peek behind the scenes of my latest weddings here.
She was so easy to have around which I think added to why her photos were so good, as she was never invasive with the camera. Her photos were really relaxed and natural - we couldn't be happier!' Light-filled, relaxed, with a mixture of the details, action, and stunning natural portraits.

Services
Well, you've come to the right place!
I live in Hertfordshire with my husband Pete and little ones, Abby & Ben.
Not forgetting our ginger cat-menace, Bernard.
We ended up with him accidentally after he was abandoned at my friend's vet practice.
He loves shredding all my paperwork, sleeping, inexplicably hunting cable ties and pestering you for attention.
But don't give him too much, or he'll give you little cat-kisses (aka bites).
I'm actually allergic to cats, which I discovered after he'd lived with us for a week, but he was too cute to give back, and Pete was totally smitten, so here he stayed!

Becky captured our day exactly as we had hoped for - and more!
Her relaxed yet extremely organised approach meant that we have lots of beautiful group shots which didn't cut too much time into our day, as well as some stunning natural shots of us walking through London from our church to wedding reception.
Lots of our guests commented how great Becky is and how well she fit in unobtrusively to the reception.
For us she was such a calming influence and we are so happy with our photos.
I'm not even sure how to begin explaining how wonderful Becky is, but I'll try! Becky was cool & calm to my frantic & nervous.

My photographs feature plenty of gorgeous natural light, which is not only really flattering, but also lends a timeless quality to your images that won't date.
That said, when evening falls, you'll often find me using my flash to creatively capture portraits, and moments during the speeches and dancing - I'm flexible like that!
I also like to work with the natural surroundings of your venue, whether it's a marquee or a barn, to find interesting backdrops that you'll feel comfortable in.
And I only shoot a handful of weddings each year because squeezing in bookings isn't as important as having the time to get to know you.

These days it's so easy to grab your phone for a quick selfie on your way out for the evening, but when was the last time you got a relaxed photo of you both just doing your thing?
Heading out to one of your favourite places with a professional photographer for an engagement or anniversary shoot is a really nice way to fix that.
You'll get to spend some precious time together and receive beautiful, high quality images that you can look back on over the years.
Having a mini-shoot like this before your wedding not only gives you lots of lovely images (which you could even incorporate into the wedding day itself), but also gives us the opportunity to have some fun and get to know each other.

Time whizzes by so fast, doesn't it?
One minute your little ones don't want to leave your arms, the next they're running around shouting and screaming at the top of their lungs.
That's why I love it when families get in touch asking me to capture photos of them just as they really are - relaxed and having fun together.
You won't find cheesy studio portraits with dodgy backdrops here.
We'll meet at your home or somewhere out and about where your little monkeys have space to run around and burn off a bit of energy.
