Photography is my passion, it's all I've ever wanted to do, and I've been a full-time photographer since 1986. I spent my early photography career on-board luxury cruise ships sailing worldwide. I'd take souvenir photos of elderly passengers in a truly remarkable variety of different places and poses. My time at sea was fantastic, meeting great people and experiencing many different countries & cultures.
Eventually I tired of globe-trotting (and constantly being told to 'Bugger Off' by my less than enthusiastic elderly models). I knew it was time to head back to England and indulge in some serious photography. Once I'd decided upon Bournemouth, Columbia Photography opened its doors in 1993, and there hasn't been a dull moment since. The comfortable, modern studio is located at 19 Columbia Rd, Ensbury Pk.
Bournemouth. There's parking for one vehicle on the shop forecourt, in the bay marked 'Reserved Parking', Additional parking can be found on the nearby side roads (Beswick Avenue). Please contact me before visiting as I may be in the middle of a shoot and I'd hate for you to waste a journey.
