I can't believe how lucky I am to be an Equine Photographer, Dog Photographer and Family Photographer, it means I can spend every day doing the things I love, close to home in Essex but also working throughout the UK. I started my career as a teacher but after 20 years of experience working with children, starting my own family meant it was time for a change.
I love being a mum to my two children and filling our home with giggles has helped me get to knows the things that make children smile and the best way to get fabulous family photographs. We are lucky to have our horse and pony at home, along with our dogs, quails and two sheep called Anna and Elsa. I groomed for a professional show jumper for a number of years, which means I am completely at home on a yard and around horses.
I grew up with dogs and I'm still a sucker for a slobbery Boxer, although these days I am rarely without our two Hungarian Vizslas, who I have worked in the field, attempted to keep up with at agility shows and love to share a blanket with on the sofa every evening.

Photographing Horses has grown from my lifelong passion for horses.
Caring for my horses, I have developed a deep understanding of the special relationship between horse and owner.
As an equine photographer I am always seeking to capture the connection you share with your horse and create images which freeze those moments to treasure for a lifetime.
I know that every horse has it's own unique personality and therefore every commission is also unique but, whether you want a contemporary or classic portrait, a natural photograph of your horse in the field, or one of horse and rider, I will guarantee I will use all my skill and experience to capture the images you will love.

Your day will usually start at your home, with a coffee and a chat, to relax you and help me to plan the type of family pictures you want.
