I first became interested in photography as a teenager photographing what every I could, but mainly the local music scene in Newcastle.
I went to college in Tynemouth and studied A-Level photography, as well as biology, chemistry and physics.
At the time, I used film, shooting on a Pentak K-1000 given to me by my Mum's partner, which I still have to this day.
I spent lots of time learning how to develop and print photographs.
I applied for a BA (Hons) in photography at UCLAN, in Preston.
Throughout my degree, I photographed fashion shoots, photographed portraits of people with anxiety and other documentary shoots.
