Hi I'm Kathryn White, I'm a documentary and creative wedding photographer based in Carlisle, Cumbria and on the fringe of the beautiful Lake District. I love to capture authentic moments rather than staged ones and strive to create a relaxed atmosphere in which to capture the excitement, joy and laughter of each wedding day naturally and without too much distraction.
I also love working with families, couples and individuals, offering photo walks and natural light portraits on location and undertake commercial projects big or small. My approach to weddings is a mixture of documentary coverage mixed with creative portraits.
I like to shoot much of the day as it happens, uninterrupted to allow you to enjoy it all to the max - there's nothing worse than a shouty photographer stopping proceedings every two minutes.
I like to capture the action as it happens, freeze framing happy moments, and capturing all of the atmosphere.
Memories are so so important, they are the part of the wedding we get to keep forever and that's why I love helping to record them for you.
