I'm a documentary Devon wedding photographer based in Exeter, photographing weddings for over 13 years throughout the South West and UK. I cover and document weddings very naturally, in a creative storytelling style, un-posed, fun and very relaxed. I'm really glad that you have found me and it would be great to see if I'm available for your wedding.
Although I am predominantly a Devon wedding photographer I also cover weddings throughout the rest of the UK and further afield. I tend to get booked up quite far in advance so do please contact me here now for further information and to check availability for your wedding, I'd love to hear from you. Services
We live in Exeter in Devon having made our dream move here from London in 2011, a slightly crazy move not knowing a single person here or the City.
I completely love living so close to the sea, Dartmoor and the rolling hills of Devon and love exploring with the family on days off.
I've been a wedding photographer for over 13 years now and I've had the pleasure to document over 300 I do's.
I still get a huge buzz every time I pick up my camera and I love meeting new couples and having new adventures.

Having been a wedding photographer for over 13 years now I have been fortunate enough to photograph at some amazing venues.
From Claridges and St Paul's Cathedral in London to Bovey Castle and Dartington Hall in Devon, to on top of the Remarkables mountain range in Queenstown, New Zealand, each venue offers something unique.
I have worked extremely hard to build great relationships with many of the venues that I have photographed at and below is a selection of venues that are very happy to recommend me as a preferred photographer and supplier.

I like to keep things very simple and completely relaxed, you don't have to worry about me at all.
In fact, I pretty much tell you to ignore me and the camera for the whole day.
I think one of the best ways to get a better idea of how I approach and photograph a wedding is to take a look at what some of my couples have said over the past few years- have a look at my testimonials page here.
I want to capture the atmosphere of the day and tell the story of your wedding so that you can re-live it through your photographs.

I now limit my number of weddings a year so do get in touch as quickly as you can to check on availability for your date.
I still have a couple of dates left for 2020 and would love to hear about your day and plans.
I do also offer smaller bespoke collections for weddings taking place in the week or out of season or on other special occasions.
For example I love shooting elopements, pre-wedding shoots and smaller more intimate weddings with just a few guests, but you probably wouldn't need me around for 8 hours!

Firstly I don't ask you to pose at all.
I don't stop the day and set shots up, but instead photograph everything very naturally capturing the honest story of the wedding with real moments.
I pretty much tell you to ignore me and not to look at the camera so I can document the day very naturally.
This style is called reportage; documentary; natural; storytelling and so on- they all mean the same and it's a very popular way of shooting weddings at the moment.
I am very lucky to predominantly photograph weddings in Devon and love the photographic opportunities and amazing venues that we have in the area.
