I have been photographing families for over 10 years, but recently following the birth of my son, Parker, have a new perspective of what I feel and want to offer my clients.
After a three day labour and emergency C-section I feel excused for not getting to my camera the moment he was born, however I did make the time in hospital to get some photographs.
Not only have I photographed him most days of his life I have also had no less than 5 professional shoots taken in his first year.
I value these photographs so much, without them I would have forgotten just how vulnerable, helpless and wrinkly he was or how he styled his mohawk before it suddenly abandoned us and became regular flat hair.
