Hi, I'm Emma, owner and photographer at Oxfordshire based Studio Bambino. I spend my days photographing babies and families and meeting so many wonderful little people (and grown ups too). How did I become a newborn photographer?
This is the part where I am supposed to write about when I first picked up a camera, but then you wouldn't really be finding out about me now would you!
Of course, I love photography, and of course, I love babies and children, doing this 'job' that should be a given, but me, the real Emma, what can I tell you about me.
I'm 40 something, although I still convince myself I'm 30 something.
I have one beautiful girl who I just adore.
She's 6, nearly 7, a complete bossy pants and she keeps me on my toes.

I know personally that the journey to pregnancy is not always easy, but no matter how you got here, I'm excited for you!
A new baby is just the most amazing experience.
The first few weeks fly by in a flurry of midwives, visitors and getting to know this new little bundle.
In the blink of an eye that precious newborn stage has passed you by.
I can't count how many people have said to me 'I wish I had done a newborn shoot with my little one, but I just didn't get around to booking'!
I know personally that the journey to pregnancy is not always easy, but no matter how you got here, I'm excited for you!

I massively regret not having a bump session, and I knew I would only be able to have one baby, and I LOVED being pregnant.
Whether you feel like a whale or are loving being pregnant, a maternity session is an amazing thing to remember your this amazing time in your life.
I know you might feel sick, with swollen ankles and a spotty face!
But don't worry about that, we can make you feel like the amazing woman you are! You're growing a human!

We start the session with a selection of clean portrait style shots - before the messy part!
Then we bring in the cake!
We'll chat beforehand about the theme that you'd like, and we'll get everything decorated ready for the fun.

Babies are usually smiling, and we can catch those still chubby cheeks, and beautiful bums before they are up and running!

When your little cherub is walking then we can also venture outside too if you would prefer.
The main aim for both of these sessions is fun.
We sing, we dance, we play with toys, and we capture those smiling toothy grins.
It's one of my favourite sessions.
