Thanks for popping in. My name's Greg and I'm the (self-titled) Head Chef at home in Birmingham with my wife, Laura, and 3-year old son, Arthur. I'm not usually one for a sob story but my Dad, Stephen, has a big part to play in why I decided to become a wedding photographer. He used to photograph all the time. I would follow him around, subconsciously learning the ropes without even knowing it.
From about 16 years old I became his side-kick, shooting as his second photographer at weddings. I really enjoyed capturing all the natural, real moments of the day. I felt like I was making documentaries. Sadly, Dad passed away in 2012. I had always thought that photography was a hobby but with a push from Laura that year, I started photographing exhibition openings and the odd gig.
Now I'm somewhat established, I care about natural, honest photography. I want to tell a story and show real connections between people. My aim is to create a set of photographs to remind you not only of how your day looked but also what it felt like to be there.
