Being a photographer in Bruton, Somerset (South West UK), located on the fringes of Glastonbury and Bath, with prime Somerset countryside surrounding me means I am never far from inspiration. Whether it's the ever-changing countryside or the different array of people that live in the area, I love to record the world as I see it. I now have a small studio space in the Vale trading estate in Bristol.
It is a creative space that provides an environment that can be used for a variety of different photoshoots. I believe photography is about recording moments for the future, seeing and captureing moments that will bring back the memories/emotions when you look back at your images.

My mini photography sessions are relaxed and fun, this makes sure we are able to keep the children at ease.
The most important part for me is to make the images as real as possible, not forced but natural is always the best, "real expressions".
I encourage you to have fun with your children and I give direction when needed.
All the family are welcome and when I say all I mean it - if you want your pets in the shoot then bring them along too (as long as the venue allows it!)
How I manage each shoot depends on the age of the children and what they are interested in.

So far we have created some amazing headshots for of Bristol based models and actress, and corporate head shots for a Bristol IT Company - Tuware.

This year I travelled the all the way from Bruton, Somerset, to the south of Sri Lanka to a small town called Galle.
The purpose of the trip was to photograph the people of the Galle.
I wanted to photograph the shopkeepers to the beach vendors, all whilst capturing a sense of the environment.
Galle and the surrounding areas are currently experiencing change, I previously visited Sri Lanka back in 2009 and I was blown away by the changes I saw this time around, new motorways, millions of pounds being spent on beach front hotels.
The purpose of the trip was to photograph the people of the Galle.
I wanted to photograph the shopkeepers to the beach vendors, all whilst capturing a sense of the environment.

The United Kingdom is at a cross roads, our country has never been quite so politically divided.
Given the importance of the Brexit moment I wanted to make sure I dedicated some time to recording some of the individuals who are outside the Houses Of Parliament day in and day out.
Taking the time to document a very small piece of our history was amazing.
I loved photographing the individuals who dedicate their time to fight for what they believe in.
On a personal level I also used the time to be a little creative with my portraits.
