Michael's first job was as 'school darkroom technician' at the age of 14, and he has been a professional photographer since he finished college in 1991, specialising in wedding photography since 2001. Michael has been using digital imaging since 1995, 'when Adobe Photoshop 3' had only 1 level of undo. All Michael's qualifications have been gained in wedding photography.
He is an Associate of the Master Photographers Association (AMPA) has Associate membership of the Society of Wedding and Portrait Photographers (ASWPP) and is a qualified associate photographer with the British Institute of Professional Photography (ABIPP) Associateship denotes a high standard of craftsmanship and individual creative ability. Candidates submit twenty pieces of work which are assessed by a panel of judges from the Professional Photographic Qualifying Board (PPQB).
