Services
Most of my pictures are available as professional quality C-type (standard) prints on Fujicolour Crystal Archive paper in a lustre finish.
Prints are offered in standard sizes, or in standard sized mounts, so frames are easy to find from a range of sources; alternatively, I can supply prints mounted and framed in natural oak (for collection or local delivery only).
Pictures are also available as high quality, hand-finished canvases prices of which may vary slightly, but a firm price will be offered on ordering.
As you can see from this photo, many of the pictures in the exhibition were large canvases (120x80cms and 80x60cms) - which make a great impact, and are lovely to see, though are possibly too large for most living room walls!
But all can be ordered in smaller sizes, or as mounted prints.
The slideshow below includes most of the pictures on display.
Please contact me if you would like to order prints.
Upper Teesdale and Moor House NNR (National Nature Reserve) was established by Plantlife as one of 150 UK Important Plant Areas (IPAs) in 2007: 'The area was designated principally for its range of internationally important habitats - lower lying hay meadows, rough grazing and juniper woods, as well as limestone grassland, blanket bogs and the summit heaths of the high fells.
Nowhere else in Britain is there such a diversity of rare habitats in one location.'
The Spring Gentian (above) is found nowhere else in England, but can be found in a number of sites high up the Dale.
I don't have much experience of shooting or editing video, but my camera records good quality pictures.
So I'm going to do a bit more in future - and hope I shall get better!
I often see things that would make good video, so I shall post clips and short films from time to time.
Toads in spring (making more toads!)
I've visited a local pond regularly in spring trying to see this - but never before got the timing right.
This year I did, and it's an extraordinary spectacle.
I hope you enjoy this short (three and a half minute) video - despite its technical shortcomings!
