Light and Dark Photography is based in the small Yorkshire town of Penistone, amongst the rolling Pennine Hills. The business caters to a range of different photographic needs from weddings and portraiture, to commercial and location shoots. The company was established by John Marshall in the late 1990s, and their well equipped studio shares an historic stable building with a hairdressers, beauty salon, alternative therapies practice, and a coffee shop.
John has always been a keen photographer, and has now been photographing weddings in the Yorkshire area for over 20 years and he loves the fact that photography gives him the chance to meet many different people - and that he is able to give them images to cherish for years to come. At his studio he specialises in portraiture, his 'style' very much tailored to your needs - traditional or contemporary, formal or informal - but always with fun and humour!
Sarah Cole joined the business in 2007. She was given her first camera at the age of six, and hasn't been without one since!
