The prom is becoming almost as big as a wedding! But it doesn't have to be prom day to capture that special time in a person's life when they are about to leave school and take the next step. I became interested in photography as a young boy, borrowing my father's camera to take pictures in the local forest where I grew up. After finishing university my interest became more intense and I would take photographs whenever I could afford the film.
I got into weddings in 2003, initially as a favour for a friend but on the positive feedback I was asked to do a couple more and within 2 years I was too busy to do my regular day job in the city! Photography isn't something I do, its something I am. I love being a part of such a special day and a little bit of me goes into every wedding I shoot.

My prices are set to allow me to use good quality equipment, albums and offer a great level of service without being excessive.
I put good value and quality over focussing purely on price where important compromises have to be made.
It is important to realise that a good wedding photographer is like an iceberg, you only see the tip of the work they do.
For every day you see me shooting, there is at least another week of work preparing, post-processing and preparing your album.
The prices below are not a day rate!

Removed from the time limit and practical constraints of a wedding, Engagement shoots are increasingly popular and for good reason.
Away from your family and guests its a time to focus on just you or your family unit, leisurely exploring a local park to get some great images you will cherish forever.
Note that couples who book me for their wedding after an engagement shoot will receive 150 discount off their wedding booking.
This effectively makes the price of an engagement shoot just 45.
You only get one shot to get your wedding photos right.

Shooting on location offers a range of opportunities for either creative expression or to capture the real you that is simply not possible in the studio.

This includes a shoot up to 1.5 hours and all of the post-processing.
You can then by either single digital images at 30 each or the whole lot for 130 depending on if you want the cheapest price or the best value.

As with all my reviews this is based on real world observations.
